Taking A Cue // Tiny Furniture

Tiny Furniture is a film about a girl who returns home from college to find her welcome may have been worn. It's a funny look at that awkward stage of almost-adulthood mixed with a bit of self entitlement my generation exudes.

Aura, the young woman trying to figure out what to do with her life, always looks like she is attempting to but slightly failing at looking pulled together.

Taking a cue from Aura in Tiny Furniture, this is my inspired outfit. Add some messy hair and wallah!

The film itself is a bit funny and refreshing, which made me very interested in learning about Lena Dunham's new work, the HBO show Girls. Her character is extremely similar to the one in Tiny Furniture but with a few more misguided friends thrown into the mix. I recommend you check it out if you are into gritty, funny, awkward looks at young adult life. The pilot episode just premiered last night. You can watch is here for free!
