Moonrise Kingdom, a 2012 dramatic comedy directed by Wes Anderson, is a film about two twelve year olds, Suzy and Sam, who fall in love and run away on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965. Instead of Anderson's usual films about damaged and dissatisfied adults, this film lets you view this idyllic and attractively eccentric world through Suzy's binoculars.
This is my personal favorite Wes Anderson film and here I take inspiration from the movie itself and Suzy for today's Taking a Cue.
