jackets galore

leather biker jacket

popper parka

faux biker jacket

I can't help it, okay?! I'm an Autumn loving girl and I just can't help eyeing all these jackets that would be perfect for the cool crisp Fall weather. Right now it's pretty hot here in the Jers. I don't even know if I can suck it up to wear my bleached jean jacket in this heat! These are some jackets I'm loving right now. I'll just keep staring at them adoringly from afar, until this weather cools down that is.

custom basics

I just discovered a new online store, eShakti. Funny name, but give it a chance. Now, I haven't gotten anything from here yet as new clothes aren't in my budget right at this moment, but when they are, I'm going to give this place a try. Not only can you get cute, classic pieces that range from $40-$80, in sizes 0-26W,  but you can customize them too! (The site says customization is free until March 31st!)

Don't like short dresses? You can order the dress to come below the knee. Don't like to show off your arms? Add a sleeve! Sounds awesome right? Go check 'em out.

Just thought I would share this cool find! If you've gotten anything from this site I would love to hear about your experience.

what I would wear if money and weird looks didn't matter

NY Fashion week is over but last post I told you I would share some of my not-so-easy-to-wear-on-a-daily-basis favorites.

Here are some of my favorite flapper inspired pieces:

And these are all very different but very ethereal:

Wouldn't the world be a better place if it could be perfectly normal to walk down the street wearing a giant puffy skirt?

To check out more of my top picks and to see who designed what, head on over to my fashion board on pinterest. Also, if you'd like to keep up with what's going on in London Fashion Week, I highly recommend checking out Allie's blog, where she is doing a lovely job of curating her favorites.

from runway to everyday

So New York Fashion Week is winding down and while some people, not including me, have come to the realization that chances are pretty good they will never own anything walked down those very famous runways, it doesn't mean we have to ignore it! In fact, I am doing the opposite of ignoring it and obsessing. If you check out my pinterest, you can see just how obsessed I am. Now, even if I don't have money to spend on these AMAZING collections, (right now... maybe someday, okay?!) I do have eyes. With those eyes I have put together some real world tips for people like me who need all the help we can get. Here are a few things I've learned from my favorite collections thus far that I can use everyday.

Right now I'm on the hunt for the perfect black, pointed-toe flat. It's so chic and way more grown up than the millions of round toe flats I have. Do these collections give you any inspiration? Also, COMING SOON: my "I Would Never Have An Event To Wear These To" favorites. So stay tuned!
